09/05/2020Doc did two surgeries on me, both in my right shoulder, a torn labrum repair and a remplissage procedure. He was extremely professional, and before the procedure he went into major detail about just what the procedure would consist of and how he would perform it. He wouldn't let me go until he knew that I understood everything 110%, and so there were no questions; It was clear that Dr. Magill knew what he was doing and, just as important, he made sure that *I* knew what he was doing. Very important considering that the man was about to cut me open.nnThe incisions were closed using surgical staples (I'd never received those before) and so that was a little strange, but I do know that they save time and usually heal faster than traditional sutures. Certainly feel odd, though. But I don't think that reflects on Dr. Magill or his skill as a doctor/surgeon. As an orthopedic surgeon, I think Dr. Magill is clearly one of the best the area has to offer. Certainly recommended.
